TERMS OF SERVICE

By booking with New Moon Cleaning Solutions, you are agreeing to the following outlined policies and terms of service. 

There will be a $25 cancellation fee for any cancellation not communicated within 24 hrs of your scheduled cleaning. Please communicate if you have scheduling conflicts of any kind asap and we may be able to reschedule your date instead of having to cancel. Of course we understand that emergencies do happen and we will always do our best to make accommodations for those. 

We travel anywhere in the state of Ohio, but we do have a .75/mile fee for anything over 50 miles from 44107 zip code. 

For payment, we accept cash, cashapp, venmo and check if it has been discussed prior. Payment is due when services are completed.

In the event of a lockout, we will contact you, wait 30 minutes. from the time of contact and then leave. Your deposit is non refundable in the event of a lockout. A new appointment and additional deposit must be made for us to come back. 

We require to record a walk through video before and after each service to protect ourselves and the integrity of our work. You can be present for this, and we will be sure not to record any personal identifiers. If you do not want your home posted online as part of our portfolio, we completely understand. Just let us know. Your privacy is our utmost concern.

Prior to appointments, please put up any items that you do not wish to be damaged or broken as we will not remove personal items from a shelf or wall. We will clean around them unless otherwise discussed. If you need us to wash the walls fully, please remove any pictures or anything hanging on the walls before arrival. 

Please make sure that each space needing cleaned is accessible or can be easily accessible unless otherwise discussed. 

We will not climb any higher than a 4-step step stool unless otherwise discussed. 

If ANY live rodents/pests are present, a new appointment must be made when they’re eliminated and removed.

For excessive pet hair, there will be a fee.

Human and animal excrement are considered biohazards and will not be cleaned unless previously discussed. You will need to provide the supplies for this situation.  

Mold is a health risk. We do not treat mold. We can attack the surface layer of small areas, but we are not mold specialists and will not be cleaning severely molded areas. 

All plumbing/electricity in each room must be working (or accommodations made) in order for us to clean that space.

We provide all products. However, if you have an aversion or would like a specific product used, please provide the alternatives yourself.

We will happily address any unsatisfactory areas that were part of the agreed services. Re-touches must be requested within 24 hours of service. We do not issue refunds.

Referral Discount: Clients who refer a new customer to New Moon Cleaning Solutions are eligible to receive a $25 discount on their next cleaning service. The referred customer must complete and pay for a booked cleaning in order for the referral discount to be applied. Discounts are non-transferable, cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated, and will be applied to the referring client’s next scheduled service.
